<p>Hanson, an Atlanta Braves&nbsp;farmhand,&nbsp;is the first pitcher in Fall League history to take home the MVP honors.</p>
<p>During the 2008 regular season, the 22-year-old hurler&nbsp;recorded an 11-5 record and a 2.41 ERA pitching for the high-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans and the Double-A Mississippi Braves.</p>
